Shirt Battle weekly awesome tshirt designs

ShirtBattle is the brainchild of two serial entrepreneurs Robert Lassers (founding partner of bride.com and ExpoSites) & Ed Primm (owner of CreativeMotionDesign). The reason and ideas behind the project are very nicely summarized by the two:

” T-shirts are a statement that is deeply personal to the wearer. It is the modern day sandwich board that declares to the rest of the world, “This is who I am and what I stand for”. We find great honor in being the catalyst in bringing out people’s inner-voice to the world.“

Shirt Battle is a website that puts two shirts up for grabs every week.  Expect to see more of these guys here, on our blog, because they feature a lot of my favorite characters, that are obviously main players in today’s pop culture.

Basically, the selection process is rather familiar – the worlds best designers go head to head in a good old fashion, bare knuckle, slugfest to see whose design appeals most to the tee loving masses. Designers are a competitive lot and like the positive feedback as well as delivering a knock-out punch to their peers.

Shirt Battle features two new designs starting 12pm PSD on Monday.  The shirts are priced at $15 during the fight and go up to $16 post fight. Shipping is $3.99 for domestic deliveries and 13.99 for international ones. All tshirts are printed in sunny Long Beach, CA.

Shirt Battle is rather new to the scene and pride themselves on the quality of their shirts, in the sense that all are made from 100% ring spun cotton and have custom labels.  The shirts are hand screened and are extremely soft and comfortable to wear.  And I like that some of the old designs can be found in the  “Now in stock” section , so they are not wiped out the face of the earth completely.
