We all here at Tshirt Factory are addicted to personalized t-shirts, I think you already know that. If I were to choose between buying a random t-shirt or having it printed with my own graphic or message, I would definitely go with the latter. Maybe it”s because we are in this business and we can”t refrain from adding a personal touch to this piece of clothing, but I am sure everyone is keen on having that special involvement in what they wear.
And this is where I wondered where people who don”t have any knowledge about printing could go and get something done easily, without even having to leave their home. Maybe you don”t have a printing shop near you so I looked for some cool sites that specialize in t-shirt printing, that would not affect a budget in a serious way.
Today I can easily recommend you Tshirtstudio.com for personalizing your t-shirts or other gifts like mugs, cushions, coasters, towels (and the list goes on). Besides all the products you could personalize the easy part is the one that is most important for the customer – online design preview of your custom product. The online design software uses high quality t-shirt photos. The text and images that are uploaded by visitors are now instantly molded to exactly fit with the folds and undulations of the t-shirt image, offering a realistic representation of the finished garment.
There are similar systems out there but they are based on flash or plug-ins. This reduces their function and availability on out of date browsers, often requiring annoying updates and downloads to work and are often useless for mobile devices. They lack anti-aliasing, resulting in ugly jagged edges and use non photographic shading and colour. The TshirtStudio system works in any browser capable of displaying an image (all of them). Visually, the difference is that other advanced solutions offer a virtual 3D “representation” of a printed t-shirt (like something you”d see in a game) while they are now offering something that looks closer to a photo of a real printed t-shirt.
You can see for yourself and below you can find my own personalized products – the whole process took me less than 5 minutes. Very easy to navigate and found it so fun that I spent at least another half an hour playing with all the options.
They have yet to find a technology that prints photos and complex images onto dark colours to an acceptable standard, but are trying out different processes so hopefully that will be available as well.
You can also choose from their t-shirt designs, but I think the design editor is their strong suit, which I noticed it is confirmed by the reviews they display beneath each product. So don”t take my word for it, see for yourself.
