2018 Fall/Winter Pantone Color Trend Predictions
I started reading about Adobe and seamlessly stumble upon another beautiful piece of news on the Pantone site, announcing the colors trends for fall and winter of 2018. It’s good to stay in touch with the trends because you will eventually veer towards it. That will be either out of curiosity or, more likely, because client requests who want to be on top of these tendencies. And that’s not a bad thing, isn’t it?
So, here we are sifting through the colors that the Color Institute chooses every year as the obsessions of the upcoming months in fashion, design and .. life, in general. It’s the NY Fashion Week that sets the pace not only for clothes but all areas of design, so take notes.
This year it’s all about strong, bold colors, such as: Nebulas Blue, Valiant Poppy or Ultra Violet which is the star of the year. “Autumnal hues that evoke the feeling of leaves on the forest floor. Rich plumage and twilight reveal a modern fall palette of deep and rich tones with outbursts of colorful surprise.”
But there are some surprising apparitions, too. Such are Limelight and Crocus Petal, announcing continual transitions away from trends. The other “building blocks” of your wardrobe are as follows: Tofu, Sargasso Sea, Amond Buff, Quiet Gray and Meerkat.
Well, what will you be focusing from these Pantone color trend predictions: classic, comforting hues or striking, bold shades? Maybe all?
