The very talented Jublin has some interesting designs that needed to be mentioned here. He lives in California and works as an illustrator. His ideas take shape with consistent humor and a touch of dark, which make his illustrations very popular.
He takes on popular culture figures but tries to avoid them, to the advantage of more original, abstract models. He promises to maintain that tendency and not give in to the sin of picturing famous figures just for the sake of it.
He has several prints on threadless, he’s a designbyhuman regular, but you can also find him on many other sites too (inprnt, society6). His flickr account is an impressive one that will surely have you browsing through all of it.
