INK THEM! New tattoo style vector released!

New packs are in town, tattoo style, bright colors, glossy elements, in the same unique style. I’ve noticed from the poll that we’ve created in the site that the tattoo vectors are the most wanted, so…. guess what? The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Or ink, hehe :), to be in theme.
We all know that each tattoo has a meaning, but a tattoo can mean something due to a certain legend, to certain religious references, or created by certain cultures. But, to all these, a tattoo is very personal, and  many times bears symbolism for the wearer alone. We hope these two vector packs are helpful and you’ll use them for great purposes, they’re all meant to glamor. You can use them for designs, logos, Cd covers, or only for fun.
Let’s take a glance into some of our team’s latest tattoo designs to see what they stand for. I hope this won’t be boring.

1. Sun– The sun is a symbol for sacredness of life, warmth, nurturing. Because the sun was considered to be the center of the universe for so long, it’s no wonder it was worshiped in many cultures. As a tattoo symbol, sun represents fertility, courage, light, passion, vitality and knowledge.

2. Activist skull–  The skull is a symbol of death first of all, and that shows out the fragility of life. The activist skull is a propagandist for life, living it at maximum, reminding us through it’s symbolism that we must die.

3. The Virgin of Guadalupe – Is Virgin Mary, but for Mexico people has a special meaning and she holds a very important place in their hearts. The most common image of her is that representing her as a browny-skinned, with her hands clasped in prayer, with a downward look, standing on a moon with light emanating from her entire body.

4. Pirate skull – Are obviously related to the pirate culture, and represent everything that has to do with them: courage, evilness, thievery. The word “pirate” comes from the Latin “pirata”, that means sea adventurer. They represent the power to kill without authority, supremacy over others, through battle.

5. Crucified heart– The cross is today one of the most popular tattoo designs in the world, and is usually associated with its religious meaning. It symbolized life and immortality, fertility, the union of heaven and earth, the sun and the stars. Its four pointers, or arms, symbolized North, South, East and West, or the four winds, the elements, not to mention the human form, itself. The crucified heart means in higher levels the personalization of Jesus as love and purity.

6. Lotus – The blue lotus symbolized well-being and long life to the ancient Egyptians, possibly even the act of creation itself. As  popular as rose, the lotus has a great reputation as it’s considered to be God’s favorite flower. It has a great symbolism first of all due to its great importance in culture. Within Hinduism and Buddhism the lotus flower has become a symbol for awakening to the spiritual reality of life. But in modern times, the meaning may vary, and it represents the struggle that everyone has to give in hard times. Because the lotus, this amazing flower grows out of mud, it proves that ugly places hide beautiful treasures. For many, the lotus is a symbol for life itself.

1. Red rose -Standing for passion and love, this flower of everlasting beauty is represented here at its maturity, with its petals fully opened. Red roses are thought also to represent inner and outer beauty. The Ancient Greeks believed the rose was originally white in color. It turned to red when the goddess of love, Aphrodite, pricked herself with one of its thorns and bled on the blossoms.

2. The eye – Usually, a single eye represents retrospection, looking to the past, in order to make a better future having the past as supreme example. It can also mean self protection, caution. When there are three eyes, they represent the past, the present and the future.

3. Flying heart -According to history, soldiers leaving for World War II often made a trip to their local tattoo saloons to get a girlfriend’s name written on a heart before heading overseas. A flying heart means that love reached its greatest state and making the lover see the world from a higher, new and beautiful perspective, due to the wings. The wings are representative for the spirits ascension, but here, associated with the heart, it makes the love feeling go higher.

4. Peace sign – It’s obviously a symbol for peace, but it started as an anti-nuclear symbol, that was designed in Britain during 1958.

5. Bad luck cat – Since ages, cats have been linked to magic and bad omens. St. Patrick skull and shamrock – These two symbols are representative for the Celts of Irish descent, and especially for St. Patrick’s Day, where, according to the legend, St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain people the idea of God, the three leaves clovers being representative for the trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, all of them making up God. Also, according to the legend, the four-leaf clover is considered a symbol for luck, due to it’s extreme rarity. 2. Winged heart tattoo – Representative for the freedom of spirit. The heart is of course, one of the most used element of human body as a symbol for the most beautiful of spiritual things – love. The wings stand for freedom, and are used a lot in tattoos to add symbolism, and make the design more spiritual. The heart is also carrying two flags with the same heart symbol on them, as a propaganda for love.

3. Pincers & ribbon – According to religious meanings, the open pincers stand for prayer and penance, making people think about the nailed Jesus. But this element might mean anything for the owner, if it is personalized.
