About Tymoteusz Piotrowski
Tim was born to a family of archeologists. Driven by his passion for images, Tymoteusz decided to study graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts, Bratislava. Since graduating, he has worked as a graphic designer and art director in advertising. He is currently focusing solely on illustration and painting.
His academic training is obvious in his combinations of vintage photographs, modern graphics, urban landscapes and grotesque representations of everyday life. Most of the illustrations are narratives structured in successive layers of meaning. He also loves experimenting with murals and paintings. Tim lives in a green and quiet district of Warsaw with his wonderful girlfriend and two insubordinate cats.
