Design by Humans introduces backpacks with all-over prints

I was under the impression backpacks were already among the custom products available at DBH.  It seems I was wrong and only recently did they throw them into the mix.

Going back a little bit, the moment was anticipated by a contest that ended July 17th. Artists submit their proposals for overall backpack prints, with prizes varying from $350 to $750.

The winning pieces were announced on July 26th and they’re exactly what I was expecting from DBH:  a trio of abstract, funny and original.

Introducing backpacks is a very smart move, because no print on demand site has them yet. Surprisingly, neither Society6, nor RedBubble or Threadless have them.

They have “a sturdy single pocket construction with adjustable padded straps and an external pocket with a basic organizer. Each bag is made using a sublimated cut and sew process to ensure edge to edge coverage on every bag. The new bags are vibrant, strong and sure to turn a few heads.”

Backpacks are an integral part of streetwear, a symbol of youth and independence, part of a freelancer’s uniform. Thus, having them printed with some of the most original designs from likewise creatives was only natural.
