Call for entries in the CA Typography Competition
Communication Arts was established in 1959. It is a pivotal source of information, inspiration and recommendation for all visual communication participants. If you are a graphic designer, a photographer, a film director or ad agency you are already familiar with this publication. Therefore, you know that a competition by CA is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself on the highest ranks of your profession.
The three-generation family-run business inspires all visual communicators. And that’s not only aesthetically, but also socially. Mainly by creating the Richard and Jean Coyne Family Foundation that funds 17 programs. These help economically disadvantaged high-school students develop portfolios to qualify for admission to art school. Furthermore, they provide college scholarships for them to study graphic design, advertising, photography and illustration.”
In short, one of the most prestigious magazines in the world is calling for entries in the 2018 typography competition. The contest celebrates the best, most innovative and creative uses of typography, calligraphy, hand lettering and typeface design. The works that the jury selects will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts Typography Annual, both in print and digital editions.
