Bestia Story clothing line has two founders – George Dulos from Livermore, CA and Luis Castle from Ceres, CA, and was created while they were attending DeVry University in the bay area of California. Luis got tired of working for other companies so he decided to start his own company. Breaking from the mold of looking for just financial comfort and security, Luis established the bases of a company that inspired people (especially young ones) to follow their dreams and use their talents. And for that he needed a back story, which most products today lack and don’t really go beyond cheap artifices. Luis puts it bluntly:
“What is the back-story or meaning on the designs? Wearing something on your body should identify you and what you believe in but most of the shirts I had were just random designs or company logos. I thought we could do better.”
As a result, Bestia Story clothing has t-shirts with designs referencing a scene or part of the larger story. It is a story that ties in all of its designs and creations, a story that they hope has a positive influence and inspires people to let go of fear and follow their dreams.
For now the story has 3 characters and 1 chapter, the 2nd one being available in beta mode as a preview for fans who subscribe.
Bestia Story has a strong connection with its customers and public in general, by constantly getting in touch with their opinions and choices in terms of the line’s future products. The blog is proof that they are constantly keeping the public on their toes with contests, giveaways and discounts whenever possible as a reward for feedback and support, as well as getting involved in the community.
The designs are original and you will get to love the characters once you know the story behind them, although the Tim Burton vibe will ensure popularity even if you don’t read the story. The t-shirts are decently priced and they also have snapback hats, plush toys with the characters and posters.
