'Koon Clothing' minimal design on t-shirts

Going in the opposite direction of Never Tell Your Tailor, from my previous post, we have the NYC based t-shirt brand Koon Clothing. They are big admirers of graphic design and call themselves “insiders” of this trade for over a decade. The designs are the literal reflection of their passion for simplicity in graphic design. The clothing line speaks in Simple Form and is dedicated to people who are inspired by simplicity, and wish to express it by wearing clothing that speak, you guessed it, the simple form.

Dodd Chomchan, the owner of the line, and his team have created 9 designs in 4 series for their first collection. All items are printed with water based ink on 100% cotton t-shirt and packed with the ‘The K’ sticker & pin.

I can’t say anything bad about the designs as I am a fan of extremes – I love all over t-shirts that are extremely striking and would actually wear more often than not the simple designs that Koon Clothing are sporting. I can see these designs working really great on more colored t-shirts, but that would take you away from the basic concept of the line.
