Meet Connor Walberg who started Concrete Coast Clothing, professional photographer, filmmaker, and passionate skateboarder with a penchant for sports in general. His hobbies are the main inspiration for his t-shirt line and he hopes to match Volcom someday, a site made by designers appreciated for their consistency of style.
Connor also runs the website www.actionphotoschool.com with his friend Daniel Milchev, a photography teacher. Needless to say, having been so experienced in such an artistic field, he found it easy and cost effective to find the best light for his clothing line and show its true potential.
The concept revolves around having and expressing a lifestyle through your clothes and not parade around a label or expensive tag. Hence the slogan “A Lifestyle, Not a Label” – design above any other company logo.
You will be happy to know all t-shirts are American Apparel, which Connor chose for being completely made in the USA and for the soft feel, slimmer fit they provide. All beanies are also made in USA and tags are sewn by Connor himself. The shirts are printed in Denver, CO using water-based ink, which are better for the environment and also mesh completely with the fabric. This way the prints are never thick and have no feel at all. The shirts are also very breathable, perfect for skateboarding. In short – Street wear at its best!
