Avid video gamers will be ecstatic to read about the awesomeness Godmode Clothing is bringing to the table. Not only they but people who appreciate the internet and gaming culture in general will find that this clothing line stands out from the rest of them, building a very well-thought business, down to the last tiny detail.
Two main people are behind it (with contribution from various designer friends): Chris Miller and Yousef Debs, both video game aficionados with the highest of hopes to do something they are passionate about. Chris became more and more determined to materialize this drive when he lost his job and chose to put his experience to use in the graphic industry. Together with Yousef's mathematical mind, they transformed the concept into reality – a t-shirt company.
Let it be known that these game t-shirts will bring you “Un-wavering attention to detail, limited edition, high quality American-made goods, masterful Packaging and clever designs.” And looking at their graphics, blank t-shirts, packaging and concept you can check all those qualities on the list.
The name, as you may have guessed, comes from the classic invulnerability to cheat. Not to suggest cheating is Godmode's style but they are so good at this “game ” you will think they are cheating. This brand is their way of living a Godmode moment we all wish for.
The packaging is something I couldn't wait to tell you about: just like a vintage NES game, it brings a sense of nostalgia to the customer. The outer box is beautifully designed by Timba Smits, conceived by Chris and Yousef to be sort of a parody of old late 80's early 90's cheesy Japanese games. The box actually looks just like a real video game. Inside tehre is a black plastic sleeve modeled after the original Nintendo sleeve, with the shirt placed within a custom black polybag. What truly makes the product unique is the rarity tags sewn on each shirt. The rarity tags emulate a random drop rate similar to many common RPGs.
60% of each design is adorned with a green Uncommon tag, that proclaims to all that this shirt something very few people have. To take it further, we tagged the remaining shirts with even harder to get tags. 30% of each design are tagged Rare, 9% Epic, and less than 1%, the most coveted Unique. How impressive is that?! The shirts are packaged up, randomized, and sent out without knowing what color tag they're sending. I say this is customer dedication to its fullest!
Godmode Clothing will be one of the t-shirt lines that we will follow closely because we need professional, dedicated people like these in the t-shirt industry. Facebook or Twitter are some of the ways you can keep track of them.
