I love Waterloo, pop culture t-shirts

Like many before them, I love Waterloo was born from the desire to create something that didn’t exist yet on the Argentinian t-shirt market. We are talking about the popular culture of movies, celebrities and bands that make t-shirts a necessary item of clothing in everyone’s closet.

A bunch of friends decided to make these cool items themselves and were surprised to be asked about it a lot. So, after receiving the respective compliments and encouragement, they wanted to take their hobby to the next level by producing the t-shirts themselves – nevermind the fact that they had no idea how to do it or what they were getting into.

They got the loans – got to work – showed people the work! The Kinks and the song “Waterloo Sunet” provided them with the name of the future line and took the show on the road to fairs and expos in Buenos Aires. The succes came so they expanded the products on the internet for us to see,  share and buy.

They classic success story could stop here, but they decided no to – their passion for art extends to music in the form of their own indie rock band – Pájaros de Plomo. So thumbs up for their involvement and dedication.

The site is full of fun stuff like Hoodies, Designer Notebooks, Retro Bags and even Sandals!

They put together some collaborations with other artists as well and have a really cool presentation. Check them out! And don’t forget to keep in touch with them through Facebook (where you get a free t-shirt !) and Twitter!
