Matt Lyon is an UK based graphic artist his work beeing showcased by C86. He has a passion to create a diverse variety of work that commonly includes graphic design and illustration for both commissioned and personal projects. His impressive artwork reflects a broad experience of mixed-media and traditional materials as well as digital imagery. His work reflects trends that combine urban art and design, as well as providing the opportunity to experiment with the conventions of imagery and production methods.
Matthew’s work has a minimal style,but at the same time it is fun and colourful. He uses a lot of simple geometrical shapes to form the elements and his subjects have a retro-modern-minimal 60’s feel to them.. The colors and shading are also very simplistic, not too much detail, just enough to get the idea across, but at the same time the illustrations have so much depth.
